Yoga Teacher Training

Take a Journey To Discover Yourself

And Become A Yoga Teacher In The Process

Yoga teacher training is a way to connect with your self through your practice.

Did you know Patanjali wrote the Yoga Sutras about 1700 years ago?  He wrote it as a guide on how to live a more gracious & purposeful life;  how to quiet the endless chatter of the mind and for dealing with the distractions that come up.  He called this practice Yoga, union, bringing together mind, body, and spirit.

The noise we all face, the distractions that take you out of the moment, and the overwhelming demands of life cannot be eliminated. BUT  you can learn to calm the mind, you can learn to find space for yourself despite everything that is happening around you.

Teacher training is a journey of self-discovery that you undertake with others.  Learn to deepen your practice and discover a whole new side of yourself.

This is an expansive physical, emotional, and intensely personalized training.

You will emerge a perceptive and evolved yoga guide, first and foremost for yourself.  This is our most important goal.  But you may find yourself, even if you don’t feel it now, motivated to share what you have learned with others and expand your practice to include teaching yoga.

So, take a journey to learn to appreciate your own body’s wisdom, calm the mind and engage the spirit.

We use Patanjali’s teaching as a guide.  Each module is drawn from the eight limbs that he elegantly lays out as a guide.

What we cover:

  • The physical poses – the gateway into the yoga practice
  • Explore breath/life force and how you can use the breath to calm the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Meditation – the latest neuroscience surrounding the science of change and how our thoughts affect our lives.
  • Working anatomy so you learn to express the yoga poses and help others find their practice in their own bodies
  • Explore the philosophy of yoga which takes you beyond the physical.
  • Teaching methodology and class structure so that you are ready to lead yourself and your class.

We discuss, debate and work with these teachings in order to deepen your understanding of what they mean for YOU.

We are dedicated to helping you learn to reconcile and harmonize yourself so that you can be more in tune with your self and of service to others – however you choose to express that.

This training not only prepares you to teach yoga, but also enhances your relationships, develops self expression, and encourages you to get the most out of your life.

Authenticity in teaching comes from the wisdom we gain from our own self-inquiry into mind, body, and spirit.

This journey is an adventure you will never forget!
