How thoughts affect our health

Personal experience with chronic pain has been teaching me many unexpected lessons. In the process of trying to wean myself off of meds to control inflammation & pain, I’ve gone down a path of researching the placebo effect and the power of thought to affect our brain and body chemistry.

I teach Breath Centered Individualized Yoga, so I went back to one of the basic principles: we are being breathed, and that breath is intimately connected to Source (Life Force, Universal Energy, God, Prana, Unified Field or whatever name you give it).

If (and it may be a big “if”) you go with the idea that Source is an infinite, all creative, all encompassing field, of which we are all a part, it occurred to me that EVERY SINGLE BREATH is coming directly to us from this unlimited source.
